They took memory cards from us and made us pay for storage. They took CDs and DVDs and made us pay for streaming. They took software you could buy once and turned it into a monthly subscription. They took ownership, convenience, and basically everything that used to be a one-time purchase… then somehow made us pay for it every month.

Is it just me or anyone else noticed social and spatial awareness completely vanishing? People freezing in doorways, hogging the entire sidewalk, planted in front of exits, blocking whole aisles, stopping at the top of escalators… Get out of the way. Other people exist here too.

Missing the time when I used to obsessively read books in less than a day and not worry about a single thing in life.

Woke up to ppl bashing/accusing LISA of lip syncing.. ‼️VMAs "live" cast has a mm second delay and their audio emphasizes on backtracks for telecast production purposes. -- Unless you're part of the live audience, you wouldn't fully hear the artists actual voice. You hear more of the backtrack+sound-effects and this is more evident when the artist is wearing a headworn microphone versus a hand-held one. But even with that, you could clearly hear Lisa's hitched breath whenever she tries to gasp for air to focus on her breathing style while executing her dance choreo. Majority of the performers used a handheld microphone because they weren't dancing as much compared to Lisa's dance act. All performers had backtracks and that is completely normal in the entire music industry. It's just easier to get away with it when using a handheld microphone versus a headworn device. This exact same accusation happened when BLΛƆKPIИK performed 2yrs ago, but they were clearly singing live! At least, that's what we, the live audiences witnessed. -- And guess what?! The people who are sitting at home, watching on their screens are always the ones who keep complaining about this same sh*t. The ones who are clueless of live production protocols. The ones who can't even sing and dance, let alone perform in front of a huge crowd are the ones who are so quick to judge and criticize. It's always the clueless ones who has so much to say. Because hey, they have nothing better to do than be toxic and hateful. I pity these type of ppl. -- For everyone who legit knows LISA, you know damn well she was nervous af, but still slayed that performance like the true professional, performer that she is. You can only hate so much, but you can never ever relate. Not even an ounce. 🎥©️ @NATERERUN
