Lukewarm Christianity has become so normal that Biblical Christianity seems radical.

You can love Jesus, and be patriotic too! Unfortunately, there has been a push in recent years that has become almost trendy - if you love Jesus or truly care about people, then must hate your country, roll your eyes at anyone with an American flag, and question those who enjoy singing the National Anthem.    In fact, there is even pressure from some that if you say you love Jesus and your Country, then you’re branded as a “Christian Nationalist” or you’re making an idol out of Patriotism.   However, it doesn’t have be that way, because here are things that are still true:   1. We are called to love and worship Jesus above all. Anytime, culture contradicts our faith, we must obey God rather than people (Acts 5:29). 2. Loving Jesus doesn’t mean you have to hate your country. In fact, we’re told to pray for our leaders, obey the law, and honor those who are worth honoring (Rom 13:1 – 7). 3. No Nation is perfect. There are many things from the past that are nothing short of evil, and let’s be honest - things that still need to change in every Nation. But, you don’t have to hate where you live, or be suspicious of those who want to see your Country flourish. 4. We have freedom. As of now, Americans are some of the freest people in world. We choose where to live, where to worship, and who to vote for. We even have the freedom to disagree. Why? Because of men and women who served this country and made the ultimate sacrifice. They paid for your freedom with their life.   So, love the real Jesus, give honor where honor is due, be grateful for your freedom, remember those who sacrificed all, and pray that God would bless your Nation. But, also know that the real Jesus from the Bible cares about all the Nations, loves all people groups, and has called the Church to “go and make disciples of all Nations (Matthew 28:19).” Jesus loves the U.S.A., wants Americans to know Him as Lord and Savior, and He desires to see America flourish spiritually. However, He also feels the same way about other Nations and people groups as well. Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

The enemy will try to convince young people that… The parents who truly love them actually hate them, and a world that truly hates them actually loves them. Don’t trade the truth for a lie.

Only 5.6% of the population identify as gay, bisexual, or transgender (Gallup). However, well over 100 different calendar days are recognized as LGBTQIA+ pride, celebration awareness, remembrance, or coming out days. That’s not representation, that’s indoctrination.
