It depends on your use case. You can either run HTTP and gRPC on separate ports or multiplex both over a single HTTP/2 port. If you’re already using HTTP/2 serving both protocols on the same port is a straightforward and widely adopted approach. Alternatively, using separate ports simplifies configuration and can streamline routing debugging and operations. Both methods are common in production and the right choice ultimately depends on your infrastructure and operational requirements.
