Dear @SEBI_India & @NSEIndia @BSEIndia How many times do you expect traders to rebuild their entire business? > December 2020 – 50% leverage removed > March 2021 – 75% leverage removed >September 2021 – 100% leverage removed We adapted. Yes, leverage is a double-edged sword. But thousands of genuine traders with smaller capital were affected. Still, we adapted. > September 2023 – Bank Nifty expiry was shifted from Thursday to Wednesday, while BSE launched Sensex weekly expiry on Friday. Suddenly, we had expiries almost every trading day. Many traders, especially algo and 0-DTE traders, redesigned their entire systems. We adapted. > November 2024 – Weekly expiries of FinNifty, Bank Nifty and other indices were removed. Only Nifty and Sensex weekly expiries remained. Again, thousands of traders had to change their strategies. We adapted. > February 2025 – Expiry-day margin benefit was removed. STBT traders were hit badly. We adapted. > 1st September 2025 – Nifty expiry shifted from Thursday to Tuesday. Again... We adapted. > Jane Street reportedly made billions of dollars from Indian markets over the years. Later, regulatory action was taken, and subsequently trading restrictions were lifted after payment of regulatory dues/settlement. How exactly did all of this benefit Indian retailers? Meanwhile... - Option STT has increased massively over the last few years. - Bid-ask spreads have widened. - Slippage has increased. - Global volatility has increased. - Transaction costs keep rising. We adapted to everything. And now... Closing Auction Session (CAS). Seriously? Every few months there's another structural change. Every few months traders are forced to rebuild their systems. Every few months liquidity takes another hit. You say these changes are for retail investor protection. Then please show us the data. Can you show even one report proving that retail trading losses have actually reduced because of all these interventions? If not, then what exactly are these constant changes achieving? Instead of making markets more efficient, you're making trading more expensive, more complicated, and pushing serious traders towards crypto and international markets. As a full-time trader, my inner soul genuinely cries today seeing the direction our markets are heading. We survived leverage removal. We survived daily expiries. We survived removal of daily expiries. We survived expiry changes. We survived removal of expiry margin benefits. We survived higher STT. We survived wider spreads and slippage. Now we are expected to survive CAS as well? Enough is enough. I request SEBI and the exchanges to reconsider this rule. Before implementing such major structural changes, consult the trading community. There should be proper communication, public discussion, and representation from active traders. I also request every trader to raise their voice through the proper channels. If you genuinely believe these changes are hurting market participants, please send your feedback or complaint to SEBI through its official grievance mechanism. And if anyone from the industry has a direct channel to the exchanges or regulators, please help convey the concerns of the trading community. Bit long because I have so much to say on this, an Open letter to Modi ji. You think this was only a student protest? You think few people would name something like Cockroach Janta Party come and can force Modi Govt to make their minister resign? No, students were just the face of protest, they got support from all section of the society because the kind of country this Govt is building around freebies, exploitation of income taxpayers and arrogant incompetent ministers, there is a huge disappointment against your Govt after 12 years. You know why only students came to protest? Because they are hopeless about their career, they know most probably they will be jobless after traditional degree, they've nothing to lose. Same with Farmers, they have become addicted to get freebies, and getting special treatment, so they've started to blackmail you now with their demands. But unlike students and farmers You know why working class never hit road even after paying income tax and not getting anything in return? Because working class are busy in life and work, they have a purpose, they have bill and EMI to pay. So they don't come on road against you even after exploitation. The take away is, > Don't promote freebies shamelessly > Give people employment, make them productive and give them purpose in life > Increase the number of income tax payers to reduce burden on existing ones > Focus on building World class public infra, education and healthcare Otherwise the 1-2% income taxpayers you have will leave the country whenever they get a chance and you'll have to deal frequent protest from unemployed and lazy people addicted to freebies, don't want to work or can't work. Think beyond just winning elections otherwise after a point you won't even win elections doesn't matter how much freebies you distribute.

Honest feedback for the GoI to consider, offered as a well-wisher: 1. E20 is a massive issue. Just because people aren't protesting in the streets doesn't mean it isn't. There is a simmering anger everywhere. 2. The root cause of this mess is singular: someone decided it was acceptable to ignore the National Policy on Biofuels 2018's plan to introduce E20 in 2030, which would have allowed older, non-compliant vehicles to phase out naturally. Instead, E20 was rolled out despite the fact that most vehicles on the road are not calibrated to run on it. 3. There is no "lobby" behind this public frustration. If the govt believes there is, they should expose the nexus and let citizens decide for themselves. Otherwise, ministers and spokespersons are only making things worse by using "lobbies" and "deep states" as defensive arguments. 4. Vehicle performance is suffering. Drivers are experiencing a drop in mileage and damage to parts. After months of denial, even Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Puri have acknowledged "some issues" with Ethanol. 5. If the goal is true energy security, the focus and push must shift toward EVs, alongside exploring nuclear energy as a primary power source. The govt should encourage and incentivize EV adoption through subsidies and a robust infrastructure network. Ethanol, in the way it is currently being implemented, is doing more harm than good. 6. The solution is to provide a choice between E0 and E20. If the current fuel infrastructure cannot support both, E20 should be rolled back to E10 until 2030. This will allow older cars and bikes to be phased out naturally before moving forward. And also, do not introduce E27 or whatever is next till the new fleet is E27 compliant and all E20 cars are phased out, unless there is an infrastructure in place to dispense both in future.

Dearest Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw ji, I am asking repeatedly again & again. This is very very important & needs immediate attention. Why should a RAC passenger bear full charge for 50% of a side lower seat? Isn't it unfair? Once the chart is prepared, Railways must refund 50% of the fare with interest for RAC passengers. The same source of payment can be used for the refund. Pls implement this immediately. I see many ladies and senior citizens who travel by RAC, without sleep and they pay full charge. This is so unfair. If any of you reading this feel that this should be implemented immediately, comment with your thoughts and share until Railways makes it a fair deal for passengers. Rs 330 crores have been earmarked by Cong Karnataka state government in its budget for development of wakf property, for construction of Haj Bhavan in Mangaluru and Christian community development. This is a state where the government pockets on an average Rs 450 crores worth of annual donations by Hindu devotees to 400 ‘A & B’ category temples controlled by the Karnataka endowment (Muzrai) department. Worse, it opposes any bill to free Hindu temples from state control. This is secularism 101!
