@AC_Trades @AdamWTrades That used to be my biggest mistake. Something that has helped me tremendously is spending way more time on research and coding rather than actual trading. Being constantly exposed to that emotional roller coaster of euphoria and depression eventually takes a massive toll on you

Pushed an update to my daily deviation tool for TradingView. Link tradingview.com/script/pSk9KEt… The lookback is finally configurable. Before it was locked at 60 days. Now you pick 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 from a dropdown and that single setting drives the whole calculation. Shorter windows react faster to recent sessions, longer ones smooth things out. The labels were the other big change. They now show which window is active and the deviation in points, so the expected range sits right there on the chart instead of in your head. The daily open also prints the average deviation for the session. Also fixed the plus and minus D levels that were not rendering, switched to a monospace font, and grouped the inputs so the settings panel is not a mess anymore. Same levels as before: average range, extreme STDV, the 50 level, opening gap and the pivot extremes. Runs on any symbol and any timeframe.

It is pure admiration for the developers who first inspired me to step into quantitative research. My architectural style is different. I focus heavily on refining the UI and creating a visually flawless, institutional dashboard experience. But the raw mathematical data these guys engineer? I am still a long way from reaching that level of complexity. Absolute respect for the pioneers.
