Indeed, the VC world is so bifurcated right now that if you are not an out-and-out AI company (or at least pretending to be) it has been a lot harder to raise than it has in many years. That is beginning to shift as a sense of nervous over-saturation becomes apparent post AI spending frenzy, but there is still a knock on effect of AI’s rapid takeover of media that is being missed. My answer is swift: our AI play in Human. As online platforms are increasingly taken over by AI-generated content, access to verified, trusted human content will increase in value. I’m talking about expert humans writing, recording, and publishing their true content. Warts and all, grounded in reality. People will consume AI generated content. But the massive, mass audiences and readerships of current human content, from news to expertise to YouTube shows, will be left searching for a home to which they can find the real thing.
