Something can be said about using AI to drive video editing software that'd edit the fck out of your very real videos. That, though, would require an image-based feedback loop (at a minimum), so it would be costly (for now). Why video editing software? Because humans already accept them.

Btw, honestly, you have to separate two things here, because that's the mistake most people make with this. First, what exactly started the said conflicts? I can bet you it's not Xi. If there is some external actor that ignited it, I can almost tell you right now it's most certainly some countries. Secondly, where were the said "Chinese" companies investing and doing business there before the conflict started? I can most certainly bet that that is the case as well. Now, if I was doing business in a region before some conflict started in the said region, before some agents of destruction started a conflict, what am I supposed to do? Pack my bags and leave? I can tell you right now that no company operates like that. There are also cases of people who move in to take advantage of a conflict and make more money by getting cheaper resources, but that is a scavenger, not a predator. If your intention is to stop conflicts, you don't attack the people who are primarily there to take advantage of it, you attack the actual source of the conflict (some times it can be the case that the source is also the one taking advantage, but that is not the case here)
