@dexmatthews @JoelWBerry It’s doable. LB of beef is $6, even in bulk from Costco. 8oz Bag of cheese is 2/$5 most of the time, two cans of beans is $4. 8 tortillas is $3. $2 worth of bulk rice, all that = $20 It’s not health food, or organic, but doable.

@magicnextdoor_ We were there yesterday, even as Florida natives it was so hot it just wasn’t a pleasant day. Hardly any clouds. The line at Thunder Mountain was like standing in a sauna. I’m used to the heat but it was miserable yesterday.

Worked on some windows install automation and finally just threw in the towel, it’s so bad, and it takes SO long to do anything even on a fresh install. Windows updates take hours on a new install even with the newest image from MS. Why automate a few clicks when the staff have to wait a couple hours anyway on a brand new Dell to update it before handing it to a customer.

@melqtx People still want some level of choice in personal financial matters as opposed to outsourcing everything to an autonomous agent (who they believe is working in the best interest of corp., not individual). If they’re going to outsource, they probably want a human in the loop

@icanvardar The model might be fine but the tooling isn’t there. Google Workspace Gemini integration kinda sucks. Can do way more with Claude. Sometimes I ask Gemini about a google sheet and it can’t even move items around. Easier to use Claude to make xls and then open in sheets.
