Eine Gesellschaft, die einen Achtzigjährigen zwingt, ein Smartphone zu benutzen, um grundlegende Rechte wahrzunehmen, ist keine moderne Gesellschaft. Sie ist eine Gesellschaft, die beschlossen hat, ihre eigenen Älteren im Stich zu lassen. Bis 2026 wird alles zu einer App, einem Code, einem Portal, einem Chatbot geworden sein. Doch genau die Menschen, die dieses Land mit ihren eigenen Händen aufgebaut haben, sind nun in ihren eigenen vier Wänden Analphabeten. Wenn man für die Vereinbarung eines Arzttermins oder das Bezahlen einer Rechnung die Hilfe eines Sohnes oder einer Enkelin benötigt – sofern es überhaupt welche gibt –, dann hat das System versagt. Das ist keine Innovation. Das ist Ausgrenzung. Technologie sollte den Menschen dienen, nicht darüber entscheiden, wem Würde zusteht. Wenn wir diejenigen, die vor uns da waren, im Stich lassen, entwickeln wir uns nicht weiter. Wir werden lediglich bequemer und egoistischer.

Un très grand bravo à cette jeune femme…. Jade, 25 ans, habitante près de Toul, en Meurthe-et-Moselle se rend régulièrement dans les forêts avec environ 60 litres d’eau pour remplir des récipients (bassines, coupelles, plats, etc.) qu’elle a installés à des endroits stratégiques, repérés grâce aux traces d’animaux. Elle constate souvent qu’ils sont vides à son retour, et elle a même entendu des animaux venir boire juste après son départ. Face à l’ampleur de la tâche, elle a lancé un appel aux volontaires pour se répartir les secteurs et multiplier les points d’eau. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans un contexte plus large : la Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO) appelle elle aussi à multiplier les abreuvoirs pour la faune (oiseaux, hérissons, petits mammifères, reptiles, insectes…) tant que les points d’eau naturels restent à sec. Les recommandations sont simples et responsables : récipients peu profonds, placés à l’ombre dans des zones dégagées, et idéalement géolocalisés pour pouvoir les récupérer une fois la sécheresse terminée. estrepublicain.fr

This is straight-up theft of women's sex-based rights. A biological male dominating a girls' race, stealing medals, scholarships, and podium spots that belong to actual female athletes. Child marriage is legal under Sharia law in Iran. At 18, her husband's business associate, drunk, in her own home, tried to sexually assault her. Her husband watched and did nothing. She grabbed a kitchen knife. She fought back. The attacker was wounded. Her husband was killed. She hid for four days. Then she went to her brother for help. He turned her in to the police. She recorded a message for her mother before her execution: "I want the world to know what is being done to me." Iran hanged her on August 8, 2026. She was 24. Reyhaneh Jabbari was 19 when a former intelligence officer tried to sexually assault her. She fought back. He died. She spent seven years in Evin Prison. The world signed petitions. Iran sharpened the rope. She was 26. Iran hanged her anyway. In 2014. Under Sharia law in Iran, to prove rape, a woman must produce four male witnesses to the act itself. Four. Male. Witnesses. If she cannot, her accusation becomes a confession. She is no longer the victim. She is the criminal, facing flogging, prison, or death. This is not ancient history. This is the law still on the books today. The law that Abdul El-Sayed is asking Americans not to fear.
