I don't watch movies on India's wars with Pakistan. However, I do read a few posts, reviews & video clips on X. For one who understands these wars, all such movies are unreal, hugely one sided with major shortcomings. I do understand why they are made: to show Indian military is superior to Pakistan military; to instill hypernationalism; & to obliquely instruct Indians that Indian military is above questioning. To do so would tantamount to sacrilege. Problem is that most Indians since 12 years are living in a fantasy world. Those who aren't are now called 'Dimagi Naxals' Folks, wake up from slumber. Times are changing - & pretty fast. Things are set to change, for GOOD, before 2029!

Agree with your take @Razarumi i think the push for the 28th Amendment, new provinces and administrative units across Pakistan is happening way too quickly. This is a major decision and should not be rushed. The debate over new provinces is not new. We have already discussed South Punjab and Bahawalpur as separate provinces, especially around 2013 and 2018. So instead of trying to create multiple new provinces or administrative units across Pakistan at once, we could have started with one area first. We could have tested the model, seen how it worked in practice, learned from the experience, and then gradually expanded it to other parts of Pakistan if it proved successful. Creating new provinces is also not simply about changing boundaries. It involves new assemblies, offices, secretariats and changes to Senate representation. These are major institutional changes that cannot be managed overnight. What makes the situation even more concerning is that there is still no clear picture of what exactly is being proposed. Are we talking about new provinces, administrative units or empowered local governments? Will there be new assemblies and chief ministers, or simply stronger local governments? If these basic questions are still unclear, rushing towards implementation makes little sense. If the goal is genuinely better governance and better delivery to the people, the process should be gradual: test one model, evaluate it, fix the problems, and then move forward. This is a huge decision, and it needs proper planning, consultation and time not a rushed implementation across the whole country.

Today's Supreme Court order has triggered a debate over whether this is the beginning of something.
