The Goa CEO has only ordered a routine check via the district officer, which happens with any such complaint. No finding of anything illegal yet. The same MLA has been calling SIR deletions “vote theft” for weeks. Official data shows most names were removed for standard reasons… people who shifted, died, couldn’t be traced, or held Portuguese passports. The process was documented, parties were involved, and eligible voters can still re-register via Form 6. Let the inquiry finish before turning every complaint into a conspiracy. In a small state like Goa, accuracy matters more than headlines. The public record so far shows: an opposition MLA filed a complaint with supporting roll extracts → the CEO ordered a routine check via the DEO → no inquiry result or official finding of illegality exists yet. Framing it as an established “mysteriously and illegally moved” attempted “vote chori” goes beyond what the CEO’s statement and available evidence currently support. Waiting for the district-level inquiry is the accurate next step. And last but not the least, Rajdeep should rename himself to Dalaaldeep for running opposition’s propaganda without verifying the claims!
