Why did Stalin represent the continuation of Leninism, and not Trotsky? Because Stalin is the one who upheld Lenin’s mass politics, rather than disregarding the peasantry & rural proletariat. If we want Marxism to succeed today, we must ensure the pro-masses position wins out.
