This feels unreal! After more than 6 years working on WebGPU, it's getting released in Chromium 113, in stable and without flags! It only took a bit longer than the 2 year adventure we initially thought it would be 😅 Read more about it here developer.chrome.com/blog/webgpu-re…

I really liked the article - it fits well if you already know a bit about WebGPU APIs, but want to understand how to use them better, esp. if you're not super familiar with modern rendering engines.

@cedricgc That is my experience indeed - beside some details/prefs, incarnations are the main thing that don't translate well. There are other differences (e.g., k8s partial resources updates) but those tend to be fine in their own context - k8s & Annealing have different ecosystems.

@signoukette J'ai aussi beaucoup utilisé des apps (Duolingo, Memrise - y'en a plusieurs) - ça m'a fait apprendre un peu de vocabulaire, mais sinon c'est clairement pas suffisant tout seul je pense. Bref, bonne chance :p

@signoukette Un autre grand classique est la serie "Nikos weg" de DW, qui couvre A1, A2, B1. Serie de vidéos et exercices librement accessible, tres bonne qualité, je recommande grandement et notamment pour commencer from scratch.

@gro_tsen I think they're in the browser timezone - so right now GMT+2 from France ( wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Wiki… ). Fwiw, it seems there is also a Grafana: grafana.wikimedia.org , but that becomes a bit more obscure :)
