Joey Jones made the case for middle school uniforms during this recent discussion: Middle school is often the toughest age for kids getting picked on over clothing and what’s considered “popular.” He noted that while high school has its own pressures, middle school can be especially brutal on that front. His suggestion: every middle school should require a basic, affordable uniform. Nothing fancy or private-school formal — simple and casual options like school t-shirts (the same way softball leagues already print them). A few shirts for the week plus one nicer option for Mondays, along with limited shoe choices so no one stands out for having the wrong pair. The point, as he framed it, is to reduce the social competition over clothes so kids can focus more on school.

Appreciate the irony of this. The FBI shadow government was trying to recruit a known Chinese agent when they discovered she'd **already** compromised a US Congressman's office by honeypotting him, bribing him, and placing interns with dual loyalties [at best] around him and others in the US Congress. And the shadow government kept a lid on this for 6 1/2 years, and now the Trump White House is declassifying it and showing it to you.

This is infuriating, and I have to say, I didn't think even the State of Washington could sink this low as this. They've gone after Jonathan Choe, Ari Hoffman and Brandi Kruse. Now L&I is going after Andrea Suarez, for "improper handling and collection of hypodermic needles and fentanyl paraphernalia." Mind you, the state hands this all stuff out to addicts in the name of "harm reduction," and they litter it all over our city and state in places where innocent people can be harmed by it. And yet the state drumming up some nonsense about how @weheartseattle is not following some sort of protocol. Since she came on the scene back in 2020, no one has worked harder to solve our drug and homelessness crisis and has done more with less, than Andrea. And she's done it all without government help or funds. WHS is volunteer and donor based. In fact, our local government has previously worked to thwart her efforts in the past. I believe that's because she represents a threat to their grift. Meanwhile, Andrea has paid herself a fraction of what a lot of the head honchos of some of our biggest Homeless Industrial Complex organizations pay themselves. I loathe the people who run our city and state. They are absolutely ruthless, and will stop at nothing. I have little doubt someone with an axe grind is behind this. We need to do a PDR and find out who did this.

Scott Bessent gets it. He cites the real numbers, folks. A million gone from the workforce, mostly via self deportation. Those self deportations only happened when Border Patrol did interior enforcement. That created the credible risk. Kill the magnet, and people leave on their own. Volume drives the wage and rent gains. Mark Mullin doesn’t. Under his model, he sticks to “worst of the worst.” That’s directly out of the old Obama playbook where the already convicted are prioritized. Regular illegal aliens go free, and call it toughness. Result? Soft ceiling. Most stay. Self deportation stalls. De facto amnesty with better branding. Bessent measures the system that scales. Mullin sells the one that doesn’t.

The Flint Hills of Kansas. 12,000 acres of native prairie that has never been plowed. Topsoil is maybe 2 inches deep. Limestone right below the surface. You can't stick a plow in it. So for over 100 years, ranchers have worked WITH this land instead of against it. Every spring, they burn 70-80% of this country on purpose. Prescribed fire clears old growth, forces fresh native grass, and cattle gain an extra 0.2 to 0.4 pounds per day on burned ground. At $3-4/lb, that's real money per head. Ferguson Ranch has been running cattle here since 1919. 300 fall-calving cows. 300-350 spring-calving cows. Mostly black Angus. About 30 days a year, 80% of all the cattle in the Flint Hills get shipped out. Then there's not a hoof on this country until next May. The last unplowed native tallgrass prairie in North America stays that way because ranchers burn it and graze it on a cycle that's been proven for over a century. @SuperiorAuction

Poor women are legitimately rewarded by the government (on our dime) to have as many children as possible. Better yet, they're rewarded for having them without a father's presence in the home, since they'd get far less $$$. So, the Govt has essentially created a system where these women gift themselves a raise with each new child born, and are incentivized/encouraged to do so. Remember, women dependent on the Govt, and their similarly dependent offspring, represent a permanent voting class for the Democrats... b/c to the Dems, that's actually the whole point. But wait, there's more. This behavior is then both normalized socially ('baby daddy' culture that doesn't hold men responsible) and passed on generationally.
