I managed to deploy my first ever decentralized website and almost managed to deploy a smart contract all by myself. I cannot stress enough how insane that is, as I has been trying to create a repo and develop something for the past 5 years, but never managed to do so until now
Upstream code is built to be tested, stressed, and iterated on. The @Web3summit testnet is open. Deploy, experiment, and push the proof-of-concept repositories to their limits. What are you spinning up today? 💻
Great to see the developer activity at @Web3summit Open-source code only goes as far as the people who run with it. Shout out to the independent validators, collaborators, and third-party teams who kept infrastructure moving last week. 🙌
The Web3Summit 2026 is over. Unlike last year, the conference was not livestreamed, and I didn't get to attend it myself. So, let's try to piece together the overall picture based on what we can find on X and hopefully learn more about the future direction of Polkadot. Take everything below with a pinch of salt – I wasn't there in person and am trying to piece together bits of information as best I can.
