في Solidworks تتم حساب الإجهادات بطريقة العناصر المنتهية Finite Element Analysis وباستخدام معادلة von mises. و تتم مقارنة الإجهاد الناتج بإجهاد حد الخضوع للمادة Yeild Strength. فإن كان أقل منه سيكون التغيير في شكل المادة مرنا أي المادة ستعود لشكلها قبل تطبيق المؤثر والعكس بالعكس
تركيز الإجهادات Stresses concentration: هي اجهادات تحصل عند التغير في مقطع الشكل ومنطقة التغير تسمى Stress Raiser ويحصل عندها أعلى قيمة إجهاد في الشكل، وينتج عندها بداية المشاكل ميكانيكية مثل الشروخ.

إحدى الأدوات السحرية في SolidWorks هي عندما تريد تعديل أي Feature أو Sketch مثل hole في إحدى القطع بينما انت تعمل في التجميع فسيكون صعبا أحيانا ايجادها من شجرة الأوامرعلي يسار البرنامج - كل ما عليك فعله هو الضغط على ال feature ثم الضغط على D لتظهر قائمة يمكنك تعديل اي شيء فيها

@CuleAW في اداة اسمها SolidWorks Uninstallation cleanup. بتنزلها من النت هذي بتعمل تنظيف للجهاز من ملفات السوليدوركس لما تحذف النسخة القديمة من البرنامج. و لازم تستخدمها قبل ما تنزل النسخة الجديدة.
