BREAKING: Trump's $10 billion BBC lawsuit is BACKFIRING BIGLY and may force Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's January 6 evidence back into the courtroom After making $16 million from Paramount/CBS to settle one of his frivolous lawsuits, Donald Trump figured he could keep suing media companies and rake in the dough from corporate CEOs who would rather give in than face a protracted and expensive legal fight. But Trump got greedy and wanted a $10 billion payday from his next target, Britain’s venerable public broadcaster, the BBC. What he's getting instead is a legal nightmare of his own making. Trump sued the BBC last December, claiming a documentary on their news program Panorama, "put words in his mouth" by editing together portions of his January 6th speech delivered nearly 50 minutes apart. He even bizarrely claimed the network used AI to fabricate his words — it didn't. The BBC did splice the footage, which sparked an internal investigation, the firing of some senior officials at the broadcaster, and the issuing of a written apology. An apology simply wasn't enough for Trump, however. He still wanted that $10 billion. Now his lawsuit against the British broadcaster is unraveling spectacularly. A federal judge ruled this week that Trump must hand over detailed financial records from more than 400 companies tied to his family trust — because HIS OWN lawsuit claims the BBC's editing damaged his businesses. You can't claim massive financial injury and then refuse to show your books. Judge Enjoliqué Lett wasn't buying the attempted dodge: "All of President Trump's brand, properties and businesses are impugned... Reputational, economic damages, all of that is now at issue in this case." It gets worse. The same judge greenlit subpoenas targeting Trump's inner circle — Donald Trump Jr., Steve Bannon, and Stephen Miller — to determine what Trump actually intended on January 6th. And now, in a third gut-punch within 24 hours, the BBC is demanding records showing exactly how Trump LOST his executive privilege claims during Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's January 6th investigation. Smith's team had already gathered evidence establishing that the Capitol violence was "foreseeable" to Trump, that he "caused it," and that he made "a conscious choice not to stop it" once it began. If the BBC gets that evidence, Trump's entire defamation case collapses. Trump built a career suing media outlets into silence. This time, he sued an organization willing to actually fight — and in doing so, handed prosecutors a roadmap straight into his finances, his inner circle, and his own conduct on January 6th. Plus, the public may get another chance to review the evidence that Jack Smith amassed against Trump, evidence that judges appointed by the litigious president have made sure that he’ll never be held accountable for. BREAKING: Trump's Education Secretary Linda McMahon hit with HISTORIC first-ever impeachment for illegally dismantling the department she runs Linda McMahon — the former pro-wrestling executive Trump installed to run the Department of Education — is now facing the first impeachment of an Education Secretary in American history. And the reason is simple: she's accused of breaking federal law to destroy her own department. Oregon Democrat Suzanne Bonamici introduced articles of impeachment Thursday, accusing McMahon of "illegally transferring the operations of 6 offices under the Department of Education to other Federal agencies." Here's the core of it. The Department of Education was created by Congress in 1980. By law, only CONGRESS can shut it down. And she made clear exactly who gets hurt: "Educators and parents, especially parents of students with DISABILITIES, are distraught and asking us to take action to stop these illegal transfers." That's the cruelty at the heart of this. The Education Department administers critical protections and funding for students with disabilities — kids who depend on federal oversight to get the education they're legally entitled to. McMahon is throwing that into chaos. McMahon's response was pure deflection, whining on X that Democrats think "an impeachable offense is working to improve student outcomes" before pivoting to her favorite culture-war obsession — attacking trans students, a focus of hers since day one. The impeachment is unlikely to succeed in the GOP-controlled House. But it draws a crucial line: a Cabinet official cannot simply IGNORE the law and unilaterally dismantle a department Congress created. BREAKING: The MAGA bozo responsible for Trump's disastrous Reflecting Pool "renovations" is exposed — and his company is literally named "Greenwater Services." Meet John Cafaro. Despite looking like a 1950s cartoon mobster, this is a real, flesh-and-blood human being from Trump's inner circle. He's also a convicted felon who previously pleaded guilty to bribing a member of Congress. Cafaro received a $1.7 million no-bid contract to install a water-purification system in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Normally, the National Park Service would have a robust open bidding process to find the most reasonably priced, most competent contractor. Instead, the job was entrusted into Cafaro's sweaty mitts without much scrutiny. The details of that contract are murky, like everything else involving this administration, so it's safe to presume that there was a healthy dose of corruption and graft involved. It's no coincidence that Cafaro just happens to be a big Trump donor and a Mar-a-Lago neighbor. He's given at least $300,000 to PACs tied to the President. Like everyone else in Trump's circle, Cafaro has proven to be exceptionally incompetent. The Reflecting Pool is now a cesspit of algae and looks greener than ever before. Another company unrelated to Cafaro received the $14.7 million no-bid contract to install blue waterproofing material in the pool. That firm likewise did an incredibly poor job, as chunks of the material are now peeling away and floating to the surface. This is how things work in third world dictatorships. Cronies and political allies are awarded contracts to reward them for their loyalty to the regime and there's no expectation that they'll ever fulfill the work to proper specifications. The administration, rather than admit their failure, has taken to posting fake pictures on social media while insisting that the water is crystal clear. We have eyes. We can see how bad it's gotten.
