@jon_severs @BeckyFrancis7 I do have a slight concern about having two Oak board members on the panel. As providers of curriculum content it could be argued Oak has a vested interest in the outcome. It could give them an advantage over other providers.

We support the Government's drive to increase the adoption of emerging Generative AI technologies in schools. UK-based companies have been at the forefront of innovations - such as predictive analytics - which have revolutionised the effectiveness of targeted learning which adapts to a child's specific needs.  Many of our members have already either launched or are developing tools which take advantage of emerging generative AI technologies and have invested significant resources to deliver this in a way which is useful, safe and effective. It is essential that the UK remains globally competitive in this field. We encourage the Government to fully engage with all stakeholders to maintain the virtuous cycle of innovation which is key to delivering their mission to grow the economy.

We're excited to have contributed to the State of Estate Research report by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA). 🙌 @besatweet is the trade association for the UK education suppliers sector that operate on a not-for-profit basis and are accountable to an Executive Council elected by member companies. Here are a few words from our CEO @AliOliverYST about our contribution and the work that we do. “The Youth Sport Trust passionately believes improving children and young people’s wellbeing is a national priority. Nearly every day seems to bring a new story or statistic about children’s declining mental and physical health and wellbeing, serving to highlight just how much young people are struggling at the moment. The UK’s Chief Medical Officers recommend children and young people should be active for a minimum of 60 active minutes a day. However, currently only 47% of children meet this target. Delivering on a long-term plan to increase children’s activity level requires investment in school facilities, so all children are empowered to develop their physical literacy and have an active start in life.
