She said “she was expecting a Trauma 1 reponse for a patient who had fallen out of a window at a height”. “We knew that she was unresponsive, & found down outside of her home” & ER staff was also aware that she had a spinal injury. McDonough said she saw no obvious signs of a head injury when Lindsay Clancy arrived in the emergency room. She said she observed “superficial lacerations of her neck & wrist”.

A Black man who ST*BBED A SLEEPING 6-YEAR-OLD WHITE BOY TO DE*TH has just WALKED OUT OF PRISON as a FREE MAN… ...after serving BARELY HALF of a 20-year sentence because he found, "Not guilty by reason of insanity." His name is Ronald Exantus. The little boy's name was Logan Tipton. On December 7, 2015, Exantus walked through an unlocked door of the Tipton family's home in Versailles, Kentucky. He went into 6-year-old Logan's bedroom and st*bbed him to de*th in his own bed while he slept. Then he attacked Logan's father and TWO of his sisters. Here's where it gets insane. A jury didn't even convict him of m*rder. They found him NOT GUILTY by reason of insanity for k*lling Logan… and only "guilty but mentally ill" for st*bbing the rest of the family. For k*lling a child and st*bbing THREE MORE PEOPLE, he got 20 years. …but now he’s out in about TEN. And it gets worse. The parole board denied him THREE separate times. Every chance they got, they said keep him locked up. But last October, the state let him out ANYWAY... nearly a DECADE EARLY... through a loophole that classified a man who k*lled a 6-year-old as a "non-violent offender." Yes, you read that right... a "non-violent" M*RDERER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't even last a week. He was arrested in Florida for failing to register. They dragged him back… and this week, they let him walk out the front door AGAIN!!!!! A free man with no parole, no probation. His family says they were barely even notified their little boy's k*ller was being released back into the world. Logan Tipton got 6 years on this earth. The man who ended his life got just 10 in prison and is now out. WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!

Our Communications Division is deeply saddened to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Communications Officer Elizabeth "Liz" Ortega. Liz was the victim of a murder–suicide at her residence in Port St. Lucie this past weekend. She began her Emergency Communications career with the Greenacres Police Department in November of 2001 and has been a dedicated member of PBSO Emergency Communications since the merger in February of 2016. She was a respected and cherished part of our PBSO family, known for her kindness, compassion, and a warm smile that could brighten any room. Her son, Ralph Varela Jr., is a Fire Fighter with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Please stand with us in supporting our PBSO and @PBCFR family during this time of profound loss. Funeral arrangements remain pending.

Bryan Kohberger has been appointed a new attorney to represent him in his bid to withdraw the guilty plea he entered for the murders of four University of Idaho students. Kohberger, now 30, claimed in a handwritten petition that his former defense team — Anne Taylor, Elisa Massoth and Bicka Barlow — "convinced" him to "falsely confess" and withheld exculpatory evidence, specifically untested hair found at the crime scene. His new lawyer, Moscow-based attorney Greg Rauch, told Fox News Digital he was just appointed Monday and hasn't yet spoken to Kohberger or read the case file. Meanwhile, a former defense expert witness alleges there's a sealed report containing location data showing Kohberger stalked the victims before the killings — and may have been inside their home before the night of the murders.
