content coins can work just like crypto gaming stuff can work the problem with both is still building something thats framed in a way that makes speculation matter more than the product itself but making a good game or interesting new social app is hard!

People who dismiss or mock CROPS properties because today’s semi-decentralized institutional chains are working well forget two things: a) governments change, and b) the current US administration has been not only friendly toward crypto, but also max-extractive. It seems pretty obvious that sooner or later, future regulators will respond with retaliatory measures. If I had to guess, they will come as low-level compliance restrictions imposed through centralized entities. Look at Europe’s MiCA and some of the recent policy ideas there for a sense of where this can go. The only real escape hatch is truly decentralized infrastructure. You can’t enforce something that is unenforceable by design. But it needs to be built now, not once those restrictions are already in place. No one will want to break something that is already working, but old-world regulators will be very keen to plug every loophole tested after the next wave of regulation. That’s why it is so important to have a truly neutral and permissionless Ethereum, and to build the structures on top of it the right way.

I think it's great that the security council stepped up and stopped NK. The interesting question is what the line will be in the future. Personally I think it will be great if crypto projects start establishing their own jurisdictions and clearly define how they make decisions
