The #sedimentological analysis of the #Jurassic and #Triassic Fm of the project in the Zagros Thrust Belt in North #Iraq has entered into a new phase. After the cores description, the next phase foresees the description of about 300 TS and #integration with the #core data.

Our team has delivered the results of a #sedimentological #mapping and #stratigraphic #logging work on exposed sections of the Upper Fars #sequence in North Iraq, after recent #drilling operations have shown encouraging signals of potential HC #deposits in the succession.

Shell confirmed a gas discovery within the Zechstein patch Reef play in the Pensacola prospect in the Southern North Sea. Pensacola is just one of many similar structures mapped in the region and is thought to be analogous to producing fields in N. Europe where our team worked!
