Sicuramente anche l'energia ha un grosso peso. Fracking e nucleare sono cose che non si fanno per via delle politiche verdi (che poi se ci andiamo in fondo il nucleare e' piu' pulito di altre fonti) e per il NIMBY. More than fantasy/sci-fi and stories about superhumans, these movies are a portrait of the real mediocrehumans we have become. One day, we'll watch these movies entertained by how fucked up things were. An accurate historical and cultural portrait. The men that are the most triggered by this are fathers, business-owners, husbands, sons, brothers. They have something to lose, responsibilities. The same girls/women they want to protect would be left alone if they were sent to jail for a tweet... scorched earth? I don't see it happening. I myself I am a coward and I feel alone in my anger and rage. I removed myself from the equation for fear of doing something I would regret if anyone even tried to hurt my kids or any kid/woman in my sight.

Prisons, generally speaking, are too soft for the same reasons: suicidal empathy. Aww, poor criminal doesn't have a TV?! The mattress is hard? No A/C? Food is too hospital-like? Cry me a river! Prisons should provide the bare minimum to coast through life and to work, producing something to give back to the society you took so much from. IMHO. If you have forever ruined the lives of young girls, there’s no commensurate punishment unless you want to get barbaric...and many would. So the "human" approach is to understand that you cannot be rehabilitated or forgiven for what you have done. You must go... with a level of pain selected at random by a computer from 6 different levels. From totally painless to the worse pain you ever felt in your entire life. Serve as a deterrent for those who share the same inclinations and would perpetrate the same crimes. Society would change in 2-3 years. Prison for this scum would not solve anything. Zero. Yes I am angry.
