You failed the test :-) Poker is not gambling, it's a game of skill, but luck (or, as I like to say, randomness) plays a part (especially short term). Long term, a skilled player will be +EV (expected value) My point is that prediction markets are used for hedging event risk, price discovery, information aggregation, and arbitrage. Of course they’ll also attract gamblers. If “some people will gamble recklessly” is enough to condemn the product, why stop there? Leveraged ETFs and options can be far more destructive in the wrong hands. P.S. Read "Fooled by Randomness", there's more uncertainty and risk in life than many people realize.

OMG, warren buffett is getting better terms than others in a large round! Have you ever seen the terms of a large round? Founders have to do what they have to do to give preferential treatment to certain investors, as you are negotiating with multiple firms at the same time. The timing, the way you negotiate, the way round closes, these things can happen.
Haven't met him in person, but @pitdesi takes are direct, and it's refreshing to see a VC openly talk about business models, other companies and market. I read many of his posts and I don't understand why you have to be defensive. In fact, it's amazing to see an outsider perspective on your business well detailed.
