When you ask users for an input, think about how they know what input to provide. No one except QA gets to put in "asdfasdf" and move on Otherwise you get this user flow: -User sees the form -User goes digging in the file cabinet for the data -Page times out, user loses all work

Incredible that we, as a society, have simply lost the battle to spam. 80% of the physical mail, phone calls, text messages, DMs, and friend requests I receive are either unwanted junk or scams trying to separate me from my money. Entire modes of communication made unusable.

I've been told many times "we can't replace that monolith because it contains business logic that nobody understands." Do you really want to be maintaining a program that contains logic nobody understands? Good luck with that.
