I don’t want disabled people to constantly be resilient. I want them to live safe and easy lives.
the grape vine that someone is "problematic" with a vague reason given and absolutely no solid evidence and just roll with it. That needs to stop.
One thing that will help curb this dogpiling problem in these fandoms is fans learning to think for themselves and using basic media literacy to fact check what they hear about other people before they form their own opinions on them. Kpop stans often just hear 10 people down +
things escalate to the point of police involvement. If kpop idols have you so bent out of shape and parasocial that you feel the need to push someone past the brink or assault them (the latter of which I was because of Stays last year), please take a break and touch some grass.
While we're talking about this, I think it needs to be said that people in kpop fandoms are far too comfortable with doing & saying terrible things to eachother. As a creator with creator friends, I've seen some absolutely vile comments & DMs over the years & have even seen +
