@tsirbiladz3 @OpenAI @NousResearch Right. For me the main advantage is that Hermes gives a stronger harness than "vanilla" Codex, especially with persistent memory and session search.
Really appreciate @OpenAI opening Codex subscriptions to third-party tools. I’ve been using Hermes Agent by @NousResearch with GPT-5.5 this way, and it feels like a true peer to Claude for day-to-day coding.
@mattrickard This is a good instinct. I run Codex through Hermes Agent, so sessions are already stored in SQLite, and the agent can search them during its own thinking, not just on command.

Just installed kimtaeyoon83's MCP server for YouTube transcripts (github.com/kimtaeyoon83/m…) into Claude Desktop. Love getting quick video summaries, though occasionally I still have to check specific sections. MCP seems to be the future of how we'll interface with AI systems. #AI
