A few weeks ago, I spoke to a team that used an LLM to implement a state machine. They were very proud of their "agentic" workflow. It took us a few hours to delete it all and reimplement everything without using LLMs. It took fewer than 100 lines of code. We went from "works most of the time" to "works 100% of the time." We went from "it's not that expensive to run" to "it runs for free". Stop using LLM for problems that don't need them.

@chucksplatt @stevanzetti I've been keeping an eye out and have also yet to see any similar protests. Mostly it's been Dallas and San Antonio. If they do happen here and I heard about them beforehand, I definitely would show up, and I guess they know that's true for a lot of us.
