You're trolling, but so is he, ultimately. The Left has adopted the language of "decolonization," which is a derivative concept to the Soviet Union's bogus "anti-imperialism" programming that was meant to damage the United States, Britain, and the Western Alliance. After 1967 (the Six-Day War), the United States formally allied itself with Israel (and not before), at which point the Soviets pushed this anti-imperialism line full-blast into the Middle East to destabilize the region and break that alliance as a part of their defense against rimland control around their Communist Empire. The "Palestinian people" and "Palestinian cause" were directly invented to this Soviet purpose, with mutual benefit to the angry Arabs who wanted to kill Jews and eradicate Israel. By the late 1970s, so a decade later, postcolonial theory arose, combining the radical Third Worldism of Frantz Fanon, the postmodernism of Michel Foucault, and the Soviet anti-imperialism dressed up as "Palestinianism" became a mainstream cause of the Western Left (after some fits and starts over the previous two decades). This is the crucial point, so pay attention, sir troll. From that point on, the primary line, again Soviet-derived, against the existence of Israel was the "postcolonialist" line that it is a colonization project by illegitimate others who are displacing the allegedly "native" Palestinian population (which, remember, was a fictional creation meant to create exactly this narrative, by joint efforts of Soviet lines of effort and Arab lines working together). That is, Israel (and Jews, in particular) got designated COLONIZERS, and the message against them was the need for DECOLONIZATION. Of course, this mostly removes agency from the Jews, as the colonizers in question are actually Americans and British, who are accused of using the Jews but under the ultimate conspiratorial control of the Jews, somehow. All of this is derivative to Soviet anti-imperialist, anti-Zionist, and anti-semitic lines of effort that more or less operated at different times and in different ways throughout the totality of the 21st century. The thing is, the Jews are actually "indigenous" to the region, which kind of matters politically and matters strongly to some people theologically, though others don't agree (Muslim theology strongly disagrees for reasons no Westerner should ever respect, by the way). Therefore, being called "colonizers" is a reversal of the reality of the situation. The technique being employed in the tweet is something like a reversed derivative of the postcolonialist technique developed by Gayatri Spivak in the early 1980s called "strategic essentialism," which she picked up from a wide variety of previous modes of resistance. This technique involves adopting the language and posture of your oppressors in a way that reverses the rhetorical impact and moral imperative. For example, someone who is racist and holds that black people are too stupid to do X might meet a strategic essentialist reply from a black person saying he's too stupid to do what he's told, not because it's real but because it's strategic resistance. In effect, he is holding his oppressor to his own standards with respect to his people. That's what we see here. The Leftist, Soviet-derivative, Islamist, "Palestinian" line, echoed by the propaganda and active measures of the whole Red-Green Alliance, is that Jews are colonizers in their Zionism and in the brute fact of Israel. The tweet you're pretending to be mad about is playing this GAME back at them. It's claiming the Left-sacred status of "indigenous" and reversing the "decolonization" imperative rhetorically and morally. It doesn't really work because the whole thing is a sham to justify the dominance of the one side ("Palestinian") and doesn't have any legitimate content, but it's a tactic that's commonly tried. I personally think it's amusing but a poor strategy because while it seems to attack the logic of the Left, it not only fails to do that (as I'll explain) but also legitimizes their conceptual structure (for the same reason, ultimately). The reason, at bottom, is that the Left isn't adhered to the superficial values they preach, and this is maximally true with their apotheosis, which is called the "Palestinian Cause." What a fraud! So, by trying to force them to be held to their own standards in a wry and subversive way, you fail to hold them to their own standards because their own standards are actually elsewhere. Their standards are "we deserve control because we're superior to you." The various justifications, like "colonialism vs decolonialism" and calling people "racist" over everything, are just levers attempting to assert that standard in a bad-faith (Machiavellian) way. They're used while they work and are dropped in favor of others the second they don't work anymore. Therefore, this technique works for them (sadly) because their targets (us) operate in good faith, but it backfires for us because they (our targets) do not operate in good faith. By "us" I mean normal people and conservatives who wish to maintain their societies. By "them" I mean Leftists and other subversives who wish to destroy what exists in the hopes of what comes after. We are not the same. So, I think what's being done here is a kind of low-level false cleverness that plays the game it's trying to beat without realizing it cannot actually win that game because the game itself is false as presented. I would advise against this particular line. I would also urge you to spend a few seconds looking at the bios of the examples you present. This guy's reads, "Raw takes on current events with unapologetic chutzpah and a schmear of satire." That last part is pretty important, and it seems you missed it entirely. So, given that, I'd add that he's not just counter-trolling the Leftist-"Palestinian" Cause here, he's doing so in a relatively self-aware way that folks like yourself seem too stupid to realize. So, that's what I think about things like this. This is a far more legit answer than you were bargaining for, you son of a bitch, but my friends will benefit from reading it even though you won't.
