It looks like Helene has impacted @NOAA's ability to publish the data to AWS. The app will show outdated rainfall until this is fixed.

@TylerCadeofTX Thanks, got a bunch of changes in the works. Hopefully will be able to do more when fall cattle works are done. Let me know if there's any feature you're interested in.

@NWS @NOAA GOES-E isn't doing the thing it's supposed to. RRQPE not being updated in the AWS bucket.

Looks like GOES-E is down again. No notification on nco.ncep.noaa.gov/status/message… like last time. Not much I can do about that. 🙃

I'm doing a little work on the server right now, so it might be temporarily unavailable.

I've added two new features this time. A Use My Location button and a Remember Map Location checkbox. Hopefully this simplifies map navigation. If anyone has suggestions/feedback I'd love to hear from you. DM's are open, my email is [email protected], or @ me. Last but not least a shout-out to all the new followers. @76cjseven @jhall1455 @Gebheart19 @Thothyez8rfaI @Discerning1 @BoikeTherese @jppatchespal @GladysAKuhlman1 @KeithMcTweets @Erickpoint0 @tacos_N_wine @brianw4134 @JMcIsaac5 @doglover_77 @EileenG13572094 @SamRyanWX @BornaEmami @kidayuka1360 @TheKitchenZone @Dont_gve_up @2023BobbyO @joel_2560 @MesaA @Cryptificent @katplanet91 @MamaGorham @GarrettS1075 @WoodyCumbie @Shatzapalooza @RandallKandi @szach14 @LarryBurnettJr6 @lumpwentservice

@NWS I applied for a Slack account but maybe you'll respond here. The GOES-E products aren't updating. Specifically ABI-L2-LSTF and ABI-L2-RRQPEF. I assume others as well. Example: noaa-goes16.s3.amazonaws.com/index.html#ABI… was last updated 2 hours ago, normally is every 10mins.

I've added a new feature, Daily Summary. Now users can view the cumulative rainfall from the previous day. Lastly a "welcome" to new followers @tbriggs77, @Marie23550502, @ayeshadequeiroz, and @Jim750203971565.

I discovered a somewhat embarrassing error with the app this morning. The animation file wasn't getting copied to the web server correctly, so the same animation has been showing all week🤦‍♂️. Anyways that's fixed now, happy Sunday everyone 😀
