That is a good and fair question. I lived in Tulsa for a couple of years back in the early 80s. That’s how I found out about the Oil Royalty payments. I made a couple of good Native American friends, but never visited a reservation. Now, you state that this is going on in most reservations. How many have you actually visited to make such a sweeping statement. Are you using published statistics and/or official Native American research findings? Thanks!

@Turb0Dan @GilTierney @WHLeavitt @ksorbs Your family chose to leave the reservation behind. They chose to assimilate. I don’t see anyone asking for handouts. Sane people are happy to make their own way as long as they have a level playing field. That’s what fighting for rights is all about.

S. made what amends to its formerly enslaved people that comes close to being considered reparations? Nothing even close to Native Americans.
