@urtheologyisbad@howertonjosh Why don't you enlighten us so we're not ignorant about Pride. There's nothing proud about shaking your fist at God and saying, 'hey God, I don't like the way you made me'. That's the epitome of ignorance.
Hi, my user has just been paused due to advertising content.
This is a campaign promoting a Christian bathrobe for Mother's Day .
One of these ads was previously halted, then reversed and given the go-ahead to run. But now it has been halted again?
I've had a read through the policy and can't see any reasons for these ads breaching policy.
Could you please explain, and how to rectify the issue.
Thanks

Is this statement true?:
'Religion is a set of boundaries and expectations that God has, to be in relationship with Him'.
I would say Christianity is never, ever a 'set of boundaries'.
Because if it was, both you and I, as we continuously break those boundaries, would NOT be in relationship with God (according to the above statement).
This is contrary to the foundational gospel message if I understand it correctly and Paul points this out repeatedly in his letters.
I disagree with a lot of the comments here. Why didn't the man take her up on her offer when she said "I want to know the one true God and teach me"? I think he could have calmed down and perhaps sown some good seeds about Jesus. Confrontation is not always the best solution. I guess my question is do we love the Muslims enough to do whatever we can to bring them into the kingdom?
@Janelles84@DonaldJTrumpJr I'm not from the US but it looks to me like you have the most transparent and accountable president in a long time, albeit a bit rough round the edges
There were two bad criminals at Golgotha hill, either side of Jesus as He was crucified.
The simplicity of the Christian message can be seen in that situation.
It is inferred that these criminals committed serious crimes worthy of crucifixion.
Because of a conversation that took place between one of the criminals and Jesus, Jesus concluded by saying:
‘today you will be with me in paradise’.
This criminal had lived a bad life and probably never thought much about God. He never did much good at all, in all probability.
So, when he gets to heaven, they say to him:
‘Hey, aren’t you that bad, criminal guy. What are you doing here?’
And the criminal answers:
‘That guy on the middle cross said I could come’.
That’s it!
That's the gospel message right there.
If you ask Him if you can come, He will let you, irrespective of your past.
There is no sin God doesn’t forgive.
Sometimes we forget Jesus spent a lot of time hanging out with bad people, - prostitutes, swindlers, and other unsavoury characters.
But that’s WHY he came.
To save them.. and me.. and you!
If you are already a good person, you don’t need Jesus.
Jesus said: 'it is the sick who need a doctor'.
I do Uber driving.
Yesterday I arrived at a pickup to find two men on opposite sides of the street having a vicious argument.
One of them was moving towards my car with a suitcase and bag and I realized he was my pickup.
The two men were gay and had just broken up their relationship.
The scene tuned a bit dangerous as the other man, who appeared to be particularly out of control, jumped in his car and chased us.
On two separate occassions, he narrowly avoided having an accident.
After repeated calls to the man in the other car informing him that the police were being called, he finally abandoned the chase.
My conversation with the man that got in my car uncovered that violence had been an ongoing issue and had previously involved the police and a DVA issuing.
I got chatting with him and began sharing about the Lord with him.
He didn't know much about God but was quite open and I told him that if he genuinely sought the Lord and asked him to show him the reality of who he was, that God would answer his prayer.
I get to share about the Lord with quite a few people in this work, but I do not do it enough. I often don't initiate a conversation because of fear or lack of confidence.
Paul says in I Corinthians, 'woe to me if I do not preach the gospel', and that's what I feel if I know I've let an opportunity slip.
One way to help give the gospel message is to have two or three well rehearsed and well thought out starter questions.
You really do need to write these out and practice them so they become second nature. Knowing precisely how to start these conversations is a great confidence boost when the time arises.
That's not to minimize the idea that the Holy Spirit can give you unique things to say in many situations.
And on that note, I do ask the Holy Spirit "what should I say".
I once asked the Holy Spirit and he told me 'ask the person if they have a motorbike'.
If I remember the conversation correctly, it lead to the fact that he had an accident on a motorbike and had an injury, and I ended up praying for healing.
When we get to the end of our lives, there will be a few things we regret. I know that not sharing the gospel with enough people when opportunities arose, will be top of my list.
Here's a challenge for you. Commit to finding one person in the next 48 hours that you can share the wonderful news of Jesus with.
Let me know here you go. I’d love to hear what happened.
I disagree with your take on this. On all the metrics, emotions removed, one would have to surmise that Trump will go down as one of the greatest presidents in US history. He's not being sucked in by any country. Iran hates Americans guts, and for years have attacked Americans. So in a country that has declared it wants to kill your citizens and has nuclear armament capacity in its wings, you suggest sit on the sidelines and watch?

These guys epitomize depravity and wickedness of the darkest kind.
Islam is unashamedly evil.
Any nation that knowingly lets people into their country, with this worldview, is culpable.
They need to urgently round them up and deport them.

We judge Thomas for his doubts. Almost no one remembers he was the first one willing to die.
We’ve branded him with a nickname "Doubting Thomas", reducing his entire life to a single bad weekend. We treat him like the weak link in the chain, a skeptic who didn’t love Jesus enough to just believe.
You need to read John 11 again.
The context here is terrifying. Lazarus is dead, and Jesus announces He is heading back to Judea to wake him up. The disciples aren't just hesitant; they are shaking in their sandals. They remind Jesus that the religious leaders in Judea barely missed stoning Him to death a few days prior.
Going back wasn't a mission trip. It was a suicide mission.
Naturally, the room hesitates. They value their lives. But while everyone else is looking for the exit, Thomas stands up. He looks around at his terrified friends and drops the bravest line in the Gospels:
"Let us also go, that we may die with Him."
That is not the voice of a coward. That is the only man in the room with the guts to walk into the fire because he couldn't bear the thought of Jesus walking into it alone. He was ready to take a rock to the skull just to stay close to his Rabbi.
So, when he struggled with the resurrection later? It wasn't because he didn't care. It was because he cared "too much."
His heart wasn't just skeptical; it was crushed. He had resigned himself to die for Jesus, but instead, he had to watch Jesus die without him. His "doubt" was trauma, not intellectual pride. He was afraid to get his hopes up again.
Notice that Jesus didn’t scold him. He didn’t lecture him. He just showed him the scars. See Thomas holding those hands, shedding tears of love.
We are so quick to define people by their lowest moments. We judge an entire biography by one hard chapter. Thomas had a moment of doubt, sure, but he backed it up with a lifetime of loyalty. Tradition tells us he traveled further than any other apostle, taking the Gospel all the way to India, where he was eventually speared to death.
He died exactly the way he lived: Committed to the end.
Are you judging someone right now because their faith looks messy? Are you writing them off because they’re asking the angry, hard questions?
Be careful. They might not be enemies of the faith. They might just be heartbroken believers who need to see the scars before they can risk trusting again.

Do you begin everything with God?
Your day, your business, your wife, your family, your chores, your driving - do you begin absolutely EVERYTHING with God?
I dont!
And because of that my life is dysfunctional.
Dysfunction = God is not involved
How can your life be fully functional if the God who made you, and governs everything, it is not involved?
