Nice people make it hard. Let me know if this happens to you. We were grilling some meat in the garage and sharing it with a couple of neighbors. One of the women from across the street brought over a few ice cream sandwiches and offered them to everyone. I said, "Thanks but no thanks." Her comment (she made with a bit of irritation) was that her husband has diabetes, and even he has one once in a while. I resisted saying maybe he shouldn't be eating that. And just repeated "no thank you." She acted disappointed in me but didn't ask again. Do you find it difficult to say no? Or is it easy for you?
