@benshapiro @elonmusk How about an eXcursion, Tesla edition? That's what my family of 7 went to. Too hard to fit 4 car seats and boosters in a minivan and no room left for strollers and groceries and bags and all that in modern SUVs. They stopped making real family vehicles back in the early 2000s.

@HustleBitch_ I have wished there was still an old Pizza Hut around. PLEASE put in tables big enough for families! The only thing worse than forking out $150 for a dinner out is having to split up the family because we don't fit at one table! Make "big" families (5 kids) normal again!

@mhp_guy I know builders that would not compromise on quality and have been sitting paying the mortgage on unsold, finished, high quality spec houses for months while the crappy houses all around them are selling because people want cheap frills, not quality.

@mhp_guy I'm a builder wanting and trying to build better houses. I am in groups with other builders that want to build better (more durable, healthier, more efficient) houses. The problem isn't innovation. People are used to buying disposable and don't want to pay for anything better.

@FaithLikeAbish2 I'd rather be the one acting like a kid, or joyful, and be making connections with the youth, than just standing on the sidelines.

@FaithLikeAbish2 Back when I was a Scout leader I was always getting confused for one of the youth. Sure I was in my mid twenties at the time, but not quite 12-14! I was always the only leader doing the activities with the youth instead of standing and talking with other leaders.

Last week in Seminary, we talked about the Creation, especially the creation of Adam and Eve. We talked about WHY human life is important. And then I told them that about 1/3 of their generation just... doesn't exist anymore because of abortion. One. Third. They looked it up to fact check me, and were shocked. 1/3 of their generation just gone, because babies were "inconvenient." One. Third. That should be a sobering thought to us all.

@BradEBonham I've had lots of training and carried for years, even at church. Charlie Kirk hit me hard (I wasn't a fan, but still) and the answer I got was peace in trusting in the Lord and not the arm of flesh. Everyone is in their own space, but for me I was relying too much on myself.

@EricCMeadows We are gutting the YSA programs by sending so many to BYU, yet it's hard to argue with the desire for affordable and Christ centered higher education. I used to advocate for a BYU Texas, to at least keep people in the South.

@EricCMeadows Those that stayed often went inactive because there was "no one left" during the school year, starting dating outside the church, etc. So many leave the church between the ages of 18-25, and I at least think church schools are a big part of why it happens.

@ByuSome This. All day long. You hit on the real problem here which is men who don't stand up for themselves (kindly and lovingly, aka take care of yourself so you can take care of others better) and wives that don't understand the importance for men of being men. Together.

@ThrillaRilla369 I have to keep my eggs balanced. If you go row by row the carton/box becomes unbalanced and then you loose all your eggs when your 4 year old tries to grab them from the fridge and can't support an unbalanced carton

@kateiswell These type of comments have started to bug me in recent years. You have good points, but also, we all know our turn to speak is coming. We should all be preparing to teach and share testimony at all times. Yes, public speaking is hard, but it shouldn't be unexpected.

God’s creations include both “things to act and things to be acted upon.” And moral agency is the divinely designed “power of independent action” that empowers us as God’s children to become agents to act and not simply objects to be acted upon. A primary purpose of the Creation and of our mortal existence is to provide us the opportunity to act and become what the Lord invites us to become. We have not been blessed with moral agency to do whatever we want whenever we will. Rather, according to the Father’s plan, we have received moral agency to seek after and act in accordance with eternal truth. President Dallin H. Oaks has emphasized that the gospel of Jesus Christ invites us both to know something and to become something through the righteous exercise of moral agency. And yet our works and desires alone do not and cannot save us. “After all we can do,” we are reconciled with God only through the mercy and grace available through the Savior’s infinite and eternal atoning sacrifice. Many of us may expect that our appearance before the bar of the Eternal Judge will be similar to a proceeding in a worldly court of law. A judge will preside. Evidence will be presented. A verdict will be rendered. And we likely will be uncertain and fearful until we learn the eventual outcome. But I believe such a characterization is inaccurate. The fear of the Lord is not a reluctant apprehension about coming into His presence to be judged. Rather, it is the prospect of ultimately acknowledging about ourselves things as they really are and as they really will be. Ultimately, we are our own judges. No one will need to tell us where to go. In the Lord’s presence, we will acknowledge what we have chosen to become in mortality and know for ourselves where we should be in eternity. If our desires have been for righteousness and our works good—meaning we have exercised faith in Jesus Christ, made and kept covenants with God, and repented of our sins—then the judgment bar will be pleasing. #GeneralConference

@mikeghacks Anndddd... That's another reason I'm glad we went screen free this year. Now we always have a stack of library books and the kids actually play together.
