When I drink alcohol my Oura night time HRV goes through the roof. Averages around 100ms. The Oura stress feature also thinks I'm chronically stressed a lot of the time but HRV spot checks would suggest otherwise. Any ideas? Grazie mille!

I run about 50km a week - would do more if I could! Reasonably polarised with ~75% in zone 1 and 2. HRV has been like this for years. It will spike during the night but always go back down to some super low level. Could it be parasympathetic saturation?

@altini_marco Hi Marco, firstly, thanks for all the great work you do! I have a question you may be able to answer and might also be quite interesting for you. I'm fairly aerobically fit. Night HRV on Oura averages around 13ms. Using HRV4T I get normal values. Any ideas?

@virginmedia Your online chat doesn't work. When call I'm directed to a chat service via SMS which then directs me to what app when then directs me to the online chat which doesn't work. Now I' stuck on memorable word loop on the phone. Seriously? I just want to cancel.
