week 2 epoch wrapped on @risextrade: 14.6 pts, rank #1440. ~54k volume this week - nothing forced, just held OI and traded organically like i've been doing since day one. week 1 was more of a feel-things-out period. now that i've got a sense of the pace, sticking with the same approach: reasonable position sizes, holding through the day instead of churning trades just to inflate volume. still early in the season, no reason to overextend for a few extra points now when the program runs for months. curious what everyone else pulled this week - same range, or is there a strategy actually outperforming plain volume + OI? moving forward steady, week by week.

this isn't the first time we've seen a team respond like this. @Lighter_xyz had something similar back in march 2025 - LLP got hit by liquidity manipulation on illiquid markets during private beta, ~10% of the pool lost, ~20% withdrawn in the panic. team's response: patched the liquidity parameters within hours, made every LLP participant whole out of their own pocket, founder publicly owned the mistake instead of hiding behind a generic statement. and we all know what happened to lighter after that. fast, transparent, made-whole responses aren't a red flag - they're usually the strongest signal a team is actually going to make it long term.

some alpha on @PhoenixTrade rewards after testing a few approaches. tried limit vs market orders, high-frequency volume farming, and just holding OI over different time windows. here's what actually moved the needle: > market orders pay noticeably more than limit orders - 2-3x difference in rewards for the same activity > wash trading volume isn't worth it - holding a reasonable OI for 8-12h does the job > larger OI held for 24-48h keeps paying daily rewards off just one or two open trades current setup: trading BTC/ETH/SOL, holding OI, opening trades roughly every 12-24h. no need to overtrade this one. right now this is close to the ideal strategy for stacking phoenix alongside other projects and covering most of your costs. and if phoenix ever launches a points program down the line, this kind of activity is exactly what would get rewarded retroactively.

TVL on @risextrade has been on a steady climb since RWA pairs started going live. back when $XAU / $XAG were first listed, TVL sat at $14m. today it's at $17.5m - up ~24% since then. and the RWA lineup hasn't stopped growing: $CL, $BZ followed, then single stocks - $SNDK and $SPCX - went live most recently. each new asset class seems to pull in fresh capital rather than just rotating existing liquidity around. RWA is clearly doing the heavy lifting for growth right now - curious to see how far this expands as more pairs get added.

retroactive points dropped on @risextrade yesterday, only got around to checking mine today. $100k+ volume → 40.6 pts. top #3090 this epoch. 1.5m points distributed in total, with another 100k coming separately from the genesis pool - that one's specifically for users who traded during season 0. so two drops in total for early activity: the epoch retro drop, and the genesis pool on top. checking discord and reactions are mixed - some clearly expected more relative to their volume. curious what everyone else got. worth it, or underwhelming for the volume put in?

this could only happen to me. checked my "delta-neutral" position today, and one leg was way out of line with the other. not neutral at all. this is what happens when you're not paying attention. lesson learned.

from ~$0 volume in march to $272m in the last 24h - that's @OndoPerps. 30d volume: $2.813b 7d volume: $1.184b OI: just $33.93m part of that growth is the weekly reward pool, which has consistently offset a good chunk of trading fees - cheap enough to keep volume flowing without needing a token incentive. now there's talk of an actual points program coming soon, with a share of $ONDO for users on top. if that lands on the existing reward pool, this could accelerate further - worth keeping an eye on before it does.

@fomoebdao that's fair, but i prefer use vari + ondo/risex, where the points programs haven't launched yet. we'll see how it plays out.

checked if vari + ondo still makes sense at scale. at $200-250m daily volume and a $175k reward pool, ~$100 + $100k weekly volume (limit orders on ondo) gets you ~$10-11 in rewards, against ~$14-16 in fees (spread included). vari points keep stacking regardless and ondo points are coming soon too. still running it.
