@CELinPursuit @BjornLomborg Also, you are dialoguing and learning about alternative approaches…sounds like some progress to me. But Bjorn does seem to always find the “holes” in things, so your point is well made.

@CELinPursuit @thegooddogsean @BjornLomborg You asked for where to find any of his answers & a whole book of them was produced. You then talk about your library?!? #nonsequitur

@CELinPursuit @BjornLomborg Craig as a man between science & story you know the need for narrative to get people to even entertain solutions. Bjorn has given many solutions to these issues, but we are too busy chasing a tyranny of the urgent (a narrative). These posts combat that & opens dialogue.

@bethallisonbarr I think that last line (women not being childish) might pull the foundation from under some of your assumptions? I could def be wrong, but women not being childish and being able to make good decisions didn’t start in 1921.

@jmhorp Are you only arguing for the efficacy of the vaccine in general as a piece of the puzzle or saying that vaccine % is the only difference between the US and these countries and the resulting outcomes?

@uribrito @DougGates13 Knowing well, much less mastering the needs & cares of the people is unfortunately in many congregations I fear, a large assumption. I’m not sure many shepard’s smell like the sheep. Perhaps they are too often looking to/mimicking celebrity pastors.

@dustinwmesser @TGC @timkellernyc I guess Henry Blackaby was on to something but perhaps he needed just a little more means of ordinary Grace mixed in. Very good article, made me think of Scruton as well.

@michaelmgoff Long stories aren’t generally good stories. Anyways, seems like an odd thing to badger Ligonier & Dr. Sproul over, but I’m sure you have your reasons.

@michaelmgoff And I suspect Ligonier pulled it because his position was admittedly too nuanced for an issue which he was on the fence. So in Dr. Sproul’s spirit of bringing clarity to the laity this was likely an issue better excluded from his works.

@michaelmgoff I see. He said his was the most liberal view conceivable without violating apostolic authority & that he could be completely wrong. He did believe in head coverings & left his denomination over having to participate in female ordination. So I wouldn’t excommunicate him over this.

@michaelmgoff What did he say in this bootleg teaching? He left his denomination over the issue so I suspect he had a strong position.

@chris_minor10 Sad. Should also note a nonprofit bail fund could have ended Kalief’s nightmare before it started. #thebailproject #freedomshouldbefree
