Adding a new feature to Pixel Toolbox, "Pixel Normalization" sometimes called "grid reconstruction." The problem is that AI images and videos of pixel art are "faking" the pixels, making it appear 128x128 when the actual image is 1080p. This feature reduces the pixel count to the actual size of the sprite you want, helping make edges crisper and less blurry. AI videos in particular leave "smudges" as the pixels move, and this can massively help clean those up.

Just released Pixel Toolbox on itchio! I needed an easier way to do common sprite operations quickly. You can import sprites from a video, remove the background, change the frame alignment, and more. I liked working with golang+wails for this app, more fun than I expected!

Another feature added to my sprite editor - video importing. Pick a timeframe, pick the number of frames, and it extracts them. It also allows for removing the background, which I've found to be very useful for a chroma key like this:

Found a fun way to generate QR codes that don’t look like QR codes. - Enter a URL and it grows a 3D tree from the code itself - The ground grid is the actual scannable QR - Switch between Spring, Summer, and Autumn looks - Runs fully in the browser, nothing uploaded - Tap the tree to flatten it and scan tree.icqr.com

After doing 2 SaaS back-to-back, my next project is going to be a deskop app for sprite editing. I chose go+wails+typescript and honestly it feels a lot happier. I used to dislike go, but currently it feels like it's in a really good place and I'm enjoying it.
