@ChuckMurison @MemoryLaneTime Allegedly 2 spaces is better for neurotypicals but 1 space is better for some types of neurodivergent people. It helps prevent “rivers” & distraction. So for politeness to those who struggle 1 space should be used in official publications.

@cassielanglove I mean hard core fans won’t care if all of a sudden the room tone is missing or whatever. But the average consumer will think it’s trash. Which then gets spread & future generations assume the whole film is that way not just those few minutes in a special edition.

@cassielanglove It’s not like they can just tack on the extra 15 minutes. They have to redo the music, sound FX, sound mixing, color correcting, etc first. Then reexport and reformat & dub in various languages, etc after the project has long since been archived. That’s too much money

@_ayandamay Years ago someone said on here that it’s definition issue. That it’s only 2-3 tablespoons of uterine material but they didn’t add up blood & other liquids. No clue if that’s true or not but sounds like a backass way for it to be correct while also totally wrong.
