You want soccer to remain niche. This isn't a unique strategy. Attack any and all more popular versions of your hobby as inauthentic and not good enough. Then when confronted say it's because you only want it to be the best and it will be even more popular if we adopt my thing.

MLS fans can be pretty corny, but the Nordecke is the pinnacle of the “heckin pupperino, boop my snoot… but first, coffee!” brand of millennial cringe. It feels less like a supporters’ section and more like theater kids putting on a performance who don’t actually enjoy sports.

I have been saying it for decades - the hacks at @ussoccer and their ties to the stadium-building panzi scheme that is @MLS are the problem. Goes way beyond pay to play and youth soccer. The Fed is the problem. It's profits over production and cronyism over meritocracy with USMNT
