First time I didn’t complain about their switch to Optus for the 2026 vehicles… in the future, direct Starlink with cellular backup when no sky view would definitely be a win, especially for regional drives. I imagine it would drastically reduce the cellular data bills for the fleet too.

@niccruzpatane As someone with an AU delivered, Giga Shangai built Model YL, which is 0-100kph in 5.0 seconds, what's the main difference with the US built Model Y Long Wheelbase? Battery output? Motor performance? Mine also is staggered tyres.

@PbDrone @harald_murphy @Tesla @TeslaAUNZ @Tesla_AI Harald is part of the Early Access Program, rollout is paused while some finer points of the model are tweaked. Hopefully it continues soon as keen to get it in my YL. Though also completely aware getting a polished and safe version is critical.
@harald_murphy @Tesla @TeslaAUNZ That’s a fast lap! I’m on a roadtrip from Brisbane to South Coast NSW in my YL currently. Yesterday I realised I could get from Brisbane to Port Macquarie with 5% buffer remaining - incredible range!
