dear russian citizen... im here in texas tonight and its about to hit 17 deg F. yes thats about -8 to you.... many places in russia tonight are getting down to -40 with some down to -57. tomorrow im sure with the power blackouts, and the burst heating pipes many in russia will not make it through the night.. sucks to be you.... im sorry but i dont care... and neither does the rest of the world. NO one is really thinking about russia tonight (except for me looking at the karma on the weather map). we in the US dont give a darn about russia, its not in our head most of the time... NO ONE thinks about you at all. we have more improtant things to think of.. like who is on love island tonight, or dancing with the stars..... we dont care about russia, or its people. but for tonight i have 2 generators, 40 gal of gas, solar, battery back up, and a hmmwv mounted generator... and a reliable grid. i also have eggs and 40 chickens, i know right.... crazy. i will be in comfort and sleep well tonight... the thing is that im not rich, just a standard american that has worked hard... thats it. none of my army friends are dying tonight in a cold hole in another country, im not getting shelled, and again i have eggs and chickens... YOU could and should have everything i have, your country is rich in oil and lots of other things... BUT, YOUR dumb ass voted in a crazy murder as the leader of your country.. YOU did that, then YOU supported the invasions of georga and ukraine.... YOU DID. it was all fun and games when you were winning, but now everything is falling apart. you cant get parts for your car, your aircraft are not flying like they should, your pipes and bursting, wildburries are burning to the ground... everything is turning to crap around you... over what? some land in another country that the entire world has said you will never be able to keep... the entire world is against you. yea i know you still have syria and north korea... but other than that... no one. you have had over 1 million dead and wounded over this stupidity... you see the wounded every day on the street, people that will never be normal with missing arms and legs... and others that have nightmares in their heads that at some point will make them monsters and kill (at home) sometime in the future.. ticking bombs waiting to go off. if the war stopped today the killing would not... whats sad is that if you had not invaded ukraine, and was not a monster of a country the whole world would be helping you today with the cold. sending planeloads of generators and parts to make sure no one froze to death, and everything that would be needed to make your lives better. but no you had to be a jerk. it seems you have 3 choices now, die in ukraine, die in a unheated apartment, or someone has to show putin the window or give him "special" tea.... its sad but no one cares if nearly every russian dies tonight... just saying. in the words if the great clarkson.... "ow well, moving on" and i do hope that a russian sees this note...

I have lived among heroes and am honored to know them! Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, and thousands of volunteers from all over the world are fighting for peace. Paradoxical, isn't it? Fighting. For peace. Because the war has come upon them, and their families. Millions of people in Ukraine, but also in the rest of the world are celebrating this Christmas without these people who are neither more nor less than heroes. The modern heroes of the times we live in. People who out of a desire to protect their families, their territory and their freedom risk their lives every day and night. My thoughts go out to each and every one of them, to their families and to those for whom this Christmas is not poorer materially, but in spirit, because one or more family members have been stolen from them by this unjust war started by Russia. I cannot help but sincerely feel pain, an injustice, for I am sitting at home, in the warmth, next to a soul that I love, who loves me and who does not miss me this Christmas. How lucky I am. How lucky so many of us are. In the picture you can see some of the Romanians and Moldovans of the Romanian Battlegroup "Getica" and the "Boys from Uzghorod", with whom I was on the front line for months. Glory to the heroes of Ukraine and to all those who support them in any way, including a kind word. Knowing that everyone in the picture is watching me here, I invite you to leave them a message of encouragement, of warmth of heart, at this very cold time, literally and figuratively! I hope that next year in this weather, with everyone's help they will be with their families and celebrate Christmas in peace! Slava Ukraini!

Over 700,000 euros. That's how much the preliminary report (and I underline preliminary) shows that I have collected for Ukraine on my Facebook page! That would be about 3.5 million lei. That is almost $800,000. Enough to buy about 40 military HMMWVs at US government auction. Or about 20x M113 APC's or 30 Javelins and one launcher for them or 1600 FPV's. But I want everything I buy with your donations to be used to save lives, not destroy them. Below you can see a small list of the products I have delivered to Ukraine and the prices for them. The Czechs are fundraising in their country for the purchase of a Black Hawk helicopter (UH-60) for the Ukrainian army. The Czechs have done "crazy" things like this before, and they are not the only ones. In the Baltics, Lithuanians bought Bayraktar TB-2 drones through crowdfunding platforms and donated them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces! The Czechs were invaded by the Soviets with tanks in '68. The Baltics have long lived in fear of the Russians, and now they are doing all they can to keep them out and support the Ukrainians. The Romanians have many stories of the Russians, allied with them, raping Romanian women, setting fire to houses when they left, killing all the animals in the yard, getting drunk like pigs. In Germany and Poland, it was public pressure that led Prime Minister Olaf Scholz to send military equipment of exceptional quality to Ukraine (from the PZh2000 to the Marder, Ghepard, Leopard, IRIS-T, etc.), and the Poles, whose history is sadly shared with ours, the Romanians. Historians write of at least 1.4 million women raped by Soviet troops during the "liberation" of Poland and Germany. So we have no reason to be surprised by the reaction of ordinary Romanian citizens, Poles, Germans, Balts, Czechs and Slovaks (don't mind the guy who won the election) to Russian aggression against Ukrainians. In Romania I have been fundraising on my Facebook page. This week I gave an interview to a magazine about my work in Ukraine, and although I don't have the energy to be an accountant too, I did a rough report at their request. And I came up with the following figures: And this would be an approximate report. (I emphasise approximate) - 20+ cars (4x4 SUVs and vans) with an average value of about 7,500 each (including necessary repairs, off-road tyres, etc.) = 150,000 euros; - Repair of 4 cars of the Civil Territorial Guard = 5500 euros; - 30 (+ 3 donated by you) generators at 1000 euros each = 30,000 euros; - About 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid. Non-perishable and durable food, animal feed, hygiene items and products, medicines, blankets, etc. = approx. 40,000 euros; - 4 DAC trucks taken out of service by the Romanian army and bought from a civilian at a cost of 8000 euro each (5,500 euro truck + repairs) + 4000 euro transport = 36,000 euro; - 10 PTZ cameras for the city of Mykolaiv = 6500 euro; - 3 DJI drones x 2500 euro + 1 night vision drone x 8000 euro + 1 Matrixx drone x 4000 euro + 2 Matrice 30T drones x 13,000 = 45,500 euro; - Various protective equipment for the Civil Territorial Guard = 15,000 euros; - Fire engine delivered to Bakhmut - 26,000 euros + transport = 28,000 euros; - Oleg Gubal mobile hospital (ongoing project) = 133,700 euros invested so far; - Consumables (diesel for vehicle transport, driver's wages, etc.) for 4 months = approx. 7000 euros; - I was cheated out of 13.000 Euro (by Phonex Medical) and sued them for compensation. - Complete (non-lethal) equipment for two military personnel enrolled in AZOV (yes, that AZOV) - 4000 euro; - Rescues for Ukraine" - project ends today: 5 rescues already purchased: 100,000 Euros; - Water for Herson" - campaign to repair the main water and sewage station in Herson: 90,000 euros. Total: 704,000 euros I'm not the only Romanian to have done this. People like Petru Gabor, who was made an honorary citizen of Kherson for his extraordinary efforts since the beginning of the war. Florin Roman, who sent dozens and dozens of cars to the Ukrainian army. Princess Brianna Caradja, through her foundation, who sent dozens of tonnes of humanitarian aid, including tonnes of animal feed. Sorin Ionita and the Expert Forum, Rădăuțiul Civic and dozens of NGOs. Mitică Laver, @horia85 are other people I know who have travelled thousands of miles and collected tonnes of aid for civilians and the army in Ukraine. @ColibanAllen, the mayor of Brasov, who sent truckloads of aid to Mykolaiv. @flavia_boghiu, the deputy mayor of Brasov, who not only supported and helped me, but also organised the most complex centre for Ukrainian refugees in Romania. @VladDanGheorghe, MEP, who organised the largest support group for Ukrainians in the first days of the war and who is constantly working on Ukraine in the European Parliament. Over 10,000 people have donated to my fundraising campaigns so far. Over TEN THOUSAND people. Who I don't know. Who have donated to people they don't know and will never know. I am proud to have been part of this effort for over 1 year. I will continue because the war is not over. We are all tired. We are. In my case, over 30,000 km driven in Ukraine, over 100 days on the front line, hundreds of bombs dropped around me, several direct contacts with the Russian army. 3 times in Bakhmut. Evacuated civilians from there. Was it worth it? Definitely worth it! I promise you there is absolutely nothing extraordinary about me. I assure you, it's all about your empathy, the fact that you care. I believe that anyone can do it if they make the effort, if they do it from the heart and if they have a well-defined creed behind them. Some would say that "good deeds are done quietly" and I would argue that the power of example is much more important. If someone like me can do it, believe me, anyone can. It's exhausting, it eats up your time, it eats up your energy, not to mention that I chose to put my life on the line to make sure that these things get to the people who need them. But I guarantee you there is nothing better in the world than knowing that you have done something that has changed someone else's life for the better. So I'm going to keep going. In the near future, I will be launching a new campaign to support the Romanian Getica Battle Group - the battle group under which all Romanian-speaking people, be they citizens of Moldova, Romania or even Ukraine, Serbia or Hungary, will come together to fight against Russia's illegal invasion. And these people are fighting for all of us and I think they deserve our support! I leave here some pictures of the aid that has been sent, to give you an idea of what your involvement means. Sa o salvezi de pe strada asta ca sa fie injunghiata pe urmatoarea nu este nici o scofala.. Vreau sa cred ca vom ajunge la nivelul in care nu vom mai face copii din ignoranta care sa traiasca din cersit, dormind in gari si pe linga ziduri si nu vor fi salvati oferindu-le o portocala sau 10 biscuiti ci vor fi dusi intru-n camin unde sa poata creste frumos si armonios.. Eu am fost un copil crescut cu portocale primite de Craciun pe la usi straine.. Putina lume stie ca unui copil ii este foame si in restul zilelor nu doar de Craciun si de Paste.. Vreau sa cred ca vom ajunge nivelul la care toata lumea va trai fericita si in pace, ca nepasarea si ignoranta societatii vor fi eradicate.. Ca nici o clasa sociala nu se va bucura de statutul ei cand stie ca celelalte traiesc in lipsuri si mizerie.. Ca religiile si curentele politice care fac rau lumii vor fi exterminate. Ca fiecare om va gandi si la aproapele lui iar fericirea va fi un bun comun, nu doar apanajul unora mai smecheri si cu tupeu..

Relief for Ukrainian moms In January, we will start a new project. I will try to not go into much details, but basically the info is as follows: Statistically, when a child with Down Syndrome, autism and other related illnesses is born in a family, the father usually bails first, as it's very difficult for them to cope. So the mother is left alone to care for the child. We will establish a center in Uzhgorod in order to provide moms with a few days off. Each child will have 2 volunteers caring for him, they will play games, learn stuff or just hang out together, while mom can go get heir hair & nails done, can visit a spa, catch up with friends or whatever she wants to do. These children require 24h care and supervision, and all of the moms I talked to are absolutely exhausted. There will be no donations needed here, we already have secured the funds needed at least for 6 months. I just wanted to share this wonderful project with you.
