@CPT_EMDR @Coys0527 @sameo416 @LPorayko @chantz_y My daughter successfully challenged this in Ontario when she went back to work after her (HA) Covid infection. Said her personal risk assessment no longer allowed her to feel safe in a surgical mask and she could not work without an N95. They have been supplied to her since.

@LPorayko @chantz_y "Misguided" is the wrong term, I feel having worked as an RN in Critical Care x 33 yrs. The terms used should be: Unethical, Negligent and if the virus has not evolved into one not spread by aerosols and is not longer more infectious than measles, then mask wear should be done.

@chantz_y I am an ICU physician. I think that the only reasonable conclusion is that we should have been masking all along, well before C19 came along. I plan to continue, but I worry that many of my colleagues will blindly follow our PH’s misguided ‘guidance’.

@OliveSiffleur First of all, sorry to read that mom is in a hospital. 🫂 Give the HEPA at the door when the maintenance person arrives... Having to work in hospitals when masks were scarce was a bigger issue than having to wear a mask now... Hospital's Patient Experience person might be helpful
