Right now in Victoria, if you’re over 60 and unvaccinated and you get COVID, you’ve got a 1 in 35 chance of ending up on a ventilator in ICU. And if vaccinated? About 1 in 244.

I met @alysia_kaiser today, waiting for a lift on the third floor, heading down to the first floor and outside Austin hospital. I was out for a smoke with my father. All I know about her is she was missing out on lift after lift, and she was also in a motorised wheelchair.
Had a 'roidectomy/colonoscopy duo operation on Wednesday. This was done under general anaesthetic & included 3 days of bowel prep where the entire bowel is liquified & expelled. The prep included 3 days of "low residue diet" which are terms that are both gross and confusing..
Today is "No Guarantee Friday".. It's also Bowel Day. I'm on 2nd day bowels. Every other day is my "Day off". There is no guarantee I won't destroy my wheelchair today. If the electrics catch fire and I self-immolate in a torrent of liquid shit, here's what really happened..
