well done sam altman. i love this space exploration theme and the fact that openai is riding spaceX's ipo news cycle and effectively recycling elon's marketing budget. clearly this is a new era: the right marketing to the consumer means more than a marginal improvement of the model's performance

@signulll yes, education for masses will be cheap. but who wants that their children to be taught by an ai/robot/machine? the cost of tutoring by qualified humans who are teaching how to think critically will be expensive.

@chamath google or meta didn't kyc me either but 95% of population doesn't need fable-level models anyway. only the best models are capable of advancing the progress of humanity at which point -- like everything else -- they become strategic assets.
