Simply not true. You have to compare elite with elite & average with average. This is a total misogynistic lie. It’s why Lia ‘William’ Thomas was able to go from 461st in male competition, in the USA to 1st in women’s college nationals, only because of male physical advantage. The ioc would not protect the female category if this utter rubbish study had an iota of merit or credibility. Shameful the disrespect you show for fair female competition.
The IOC has said that fairness in sex categories is secured when everyone in that category is of the same sex. That's the bottom line, and the IOC is correct. So, in order to be fair, the female category must only contain persons who are female. As a result, the interesting new empirical study that's relevant will be one that reports a human changing sex. Please feel free to come back to us @PeterTatchell when you've got that one. We will all be very interested, including, I'm sure, the Nobel Prize Committee.

An inspiring article to mark the centenary of the first women’s cricket match at Colwall Cricket Club near Malvern. In 1926 a group of women hockey players spent a week at Colwall on a cricket holiday. They enjoyed it so much they founded the Women’s Cricket Association which was the governing body of women’s cricket until 1998. The spirit of those cricket pioneers is alive and well in Colwall which now has a permanent centenary celebration in its clubhouse. What a shame that this month’s inaugural cricket Women’s Masters World Cup which launched in Malvern, home of women’s cricket, decided to include men… The Senior Women’s Cricket Association appears unaware of UK legislation which states that the word woman only applies to females based on their biology. No males should have been anywhere near a women’s tournament.
