that's neuron. it doesn't know fear. it doesn't know lack. it just repeats what you tell it. you tell it "i'm not enough" 500 times. the neuron fires. then fires again. then builds a superhighway for that belief. you tell it "nothing ever works for me" every morning. the neuron doesn't argue. it just memorizes. you tell it "i can't change" long enough, the neuron believes you. and then your reality matches. that's neuroplasticity. from a quantum perspective, your focused attention is what turns possibility into experience. the neuron is the bridge, but the bridge only appears when you choose a direction. the good news? the same neuron doesn't know truth from a lie. it just repeats. so you can overwrite the lie with a new signal. when you hold that new signal with quiet certainty, reality reorganizes around it, without you forcing it. what most people get wrong: they try to "think positive" once. then wonder why nothing changes. one weak signal doesn't build a highway. repetition does. and without the inner "already done", the repetition stays hollow."

I have been privileged to work across over 20 countries including the United States and UK as a Gen Z. In many rooms I have been in, I was the youngest person. So I can tell you, the greatest skill you need in your corner is not your certificate, but the ability to work across cultures and systems.  The fact that the 76-year old CEO in my workplace 3 streets away from the White House asked me to call him by his first name Damon doesn’t mean I should come back to Nigeria and call Dr. Oby Ezekwesili by her first name. It’s lack of social intelligence. When you are in Rome, you behave like a Roman. Adapt quickly or be left behind.

For wetin? When the watery stool starts, you mix one sachet in one litre of clean water and you start drinking on THE WAY TO THE CLINIC, not when you reach there. And let me add this one, because people don't know: it is not cholera alone. Any serious running stomach, same sachet. Plain water will not be enough.

Looking at these documents, I honestly don't think I will ever see a reason to accept ND/HND as the pathway for Nursing. If the system itself has repeatedly tied career progression and movement into Directorate cadres to having a first degree in Nursing, why should I voluntarily choose a pathway that can create another hurdle later? For me, it has always been simple: if I have the opportunity to pursue the degree route from the beginning, I’ll take it. This is not about looking down on anyone who came through another pathway. It’s about looking at the direction the profession is heading and making a decision that protects my career long-term.

this is insane. i genuinely don't understand why ambitious people aren't shown this lecture before their careers start consuming their entire lives. clayton christensen spent his career studying why successful companies collapse. in his final class, he asked students to apply the theory to themselves: if you keep allocating your time the same way, what life are you actually building? he had already seen the answer in his own harvard mba class. everyone looked successful at the fifth reunion; by the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th, many were unhappy, divorced, and living far from their children. work shows you the score immediately. close a sale, ship a product, finish a presentation, earn a promotion, get paid. an hour with your child may produce nothing you can measure today; it may take 20 years to understand what that hour built. so the next free hour goes back to work, one rational decision at a time. this is how people build lives they never planned: through hundreds of right decisions that lead in the wrong direction, day after day. money, titles, and headcount are easy to count. christensen believed a life should be measured by the people who became better because you were there. he died in 2020. one question remains: if someone saw only where your time, energy, and attention went this year, what would they think actually mattered to you? the full 19-minute lecture is in the video below.

You can be disciplined without the Holy Spirit. You can be respected by your neighbors and still refuse the King who made you. Satan is perfectly content with morality that keeps a man from repentance. He wants you trusting your record instead of Christ’s sacrifice, your discipline instead of God’s grace, and your reputation instead of the finished work of Jesus. A repentant thief beside Christ had no religious résumé left to offer. The woman in Luke 7 was known only as “a sinner,” yet Christ told her, “Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” The respectable man who rejects the Son is not safer than either of them. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36) Your neighbors may call you good. Your church may call you faithful. Your own conscience may point to a clean record. None of those voices can save you. Satan does not have to make you wicked in public. He only has to keep you from bowing to Jesus Christ. Stop trusting your morals to do the work of a Savior. Bring your sin, your goodness, your reputation, and your empty hands to Christ. Only Jesus saves.

This is how to predict your future: I made this tweet yesterday: “The closest prediction of your future is the result of the top guy in your industry. If you beat them, then you are an anomaly.” A few people asked me to explain, so here goes - If you are a doctor, the top guy in your industry is the CONSULTANT. His life is the best possible outcome of your future - because it is the end game of your career path. Which means, if he earns ₦800k a month, your future top earning will be around ₦800k, plus everything & the life that income gives him. You will not escape this end game - NO MATTER how hard you work. Because the game is capped. Which means, the best way to make more than ₦800k and have a life significantly better than the Consultant is NOT to work harder; it is to EXIT the game he is playing. Working harder will simply accelerate you towards the unfavorable end game. So why play it? Which means you need to find a player that has the life you want. In the case of the hospital, it can be the doctor that owns a hospital chain. So if your end game is to be rich, then the hospital chain doctor's game is the best play. Not that of the Consultant. End games are scattered all around us. If you are a teacher, you can look at the principal or highest-paid school administrator. If you are a banker, look at the branch manager, regional manager or executive director. If you are a lawyer, look at the senior partner of the law firm. If you are a civil servant, look at the director or permanent secretary. If you are a footballer, look at the highest level you can realistically reach in that career and ask yourself if that life is what you want. If you are a taxi driver, look at the guy who has spent 20 years driving and ask yourself if you want his end game. If you are playing the JAMB => university=>NYSC =>9-5 game, look at where the person 20 years ahead of you ended up. If you are an entrepreneur selling products online, look at the biggest person playing the same game. Trace what game they are REALLY playing, instead of just working hard. You must ask: “Do I even want his end game? or do i need to play a different game” Because if you don't like the destination, working harder is actually a bad strategy.
