Name a better place for our youth to develop social emotional learning skills than participation in sports. Self control, self/social awareness, relationship skills, decision making - the laboratory is as authentic as it gets. Adults - either recognize this - or step aside!

Sports Parents: Encourage your kids to talk to coaches on their own when they have a question. When you do that you’re empowering & teaching them how to advocate for themselves. That’s a HUGE life lesson that’ll serve them well throughout their entire life!
You might not be able to control if you’re the biggest, strongest or fastest … But you can control if you’re the most coachable, hardest worker, and best competitor. Don’t worry about the things that are out of your control. Start focusing on the things you can.
