@TeamYouTube I've had multiple old videos taken down wrongly for "violating" the community guidelines now. Nobody has told me how or why, just that they "promote violence" or "glorify a criminal organization", which is clearly wrong to anyone who actually views them.

@TeamYouTube Please don't come back to me with boilerplate response. I'm firm in my position on this and I'm not going to accept "this breaks the rules" without a proper justification as an answer. I don't need a link to the community guidelines either - I'm already familiar with them.

@TeamYouTube If videos that I worked hard on are suddenly going to be deleted, then I want proper answers. I want confirmation that human eyes are seeing these cases. I want to know why they think an obvious (and common) joke is "promoting violence/criminal organizations".

@TeamYouTube The last time I reached out for help with this I was given more copy-pasted messages and no explanation or justification as to why this is happening. I feel disrespected and ignored, and I'm getting frustrated.

@TeamYouTube As far as I can tell, these videos are being taken down by automatic systems and my appeals are either handled by the same systems or ignored. I've no way of communicating with YouTube outside of being sent boilerplate notifications that tell me nothing.

@TeamYouTube Specifically what I don't understand: How does my video "praise, promote, or aid violent criminal organizations" but the hundreds of other videos that tell the same joke, often with the same sounds and images, don't? How is it clearly a joke in those videos but not in mine?

@TeamYouTube I have - that's why I'm so confused. I understand it was looked into, but the response I got was similarly unconstructive: I've been told my video violates the community guidelines when in my own honest assessment of those guidelines it doesn't.

@TeamYouTube That particular video I used as an example used the same sound clips and flag image as my video. I could probably give a dozen other examples that do if I searched for a few minutes.

@TeamYouTube watch?v=K0wamS764Kc I'm not sure how else to explain it aside from saying it's obvious to anyone who watches it that it's a joke. It's been a meme for a long time; there are thousands of videos telling the same joke on YouTube and other video sites (ie: watch?v=yyYqRX6B7KM)

@TeamYouTube Specifically, I got a strike for "promoting a violent criminal/terrorist organization" when I was very clearly making a joke at their expense. That should be apparent to anyone who actually watches the video.

@TeamYouTube I filed an appeal and it was rejected in less than a day. I only received a boilerplate e-mail and I don't think anyone seriously considered my appeal.
