By the government's own numbers released in May, there are 436,000 Phoenix pay transactions sitting in the queue waiting to be processed, numbers not seen since 2019. Instead of making progress, they are sliding backwards.

The Ford government just passed Bill 60 to further privatize healthcare. Public resources are being allocated to for-profit clinics to perform surgeries. Meanwhile, many Operating rooms in Ontario are running below capacity due to underfunding. Your health is now for-profit. Sad!

As we reported Friday, negotiations for PSAC’s Treasury Board bargaining units resumed and carried on into the weekend. Our bargaining teams negotiated late into Saturday evening and have continued this morning. Talks are also ongoing with Canada Revenue Agency. 1/4
