Good morning from Skelmersdale Truck Stop 🚚 I wanted parking that was close by to my delivery this morning and came across Skelmersdale Truck Stop. I arrived early and there was plenty of space, but it soon filled up, with roughly 30 spaces available. The facilities are really clean and kept to a good standard 🧼 It was nice to have a shower and not have to push a button every 5 seconds for the water, but best of all was being able to set the temperature how you want it. There is a nice restaurant on site with plenty of seating, and the food is really good with generous portions 😋 Again, it’s really clean, and they’ve got a 5 ⭐️ food hygiene rating. Next to the restaurant is a quiet area with sofas if you fancy some time away from the cab. Most importantly, the site has security who guide you to a space and carry out patrols throughout the night 🔦 giving you that extra peace of mind. All the staff I spoke to are really friendly and helpful 🙏🏻 The site is really quiet overnight, so you know that you’ll get a good night sleep 😴 If I’m in the area again, then I certainly won’t forget this place for parking.
